Nature and solitude in Norfolk

I took a long meandering walk in the fields around the village of Itteringham, Norfolk, on Boxing Day. It was wonderful being out in the woods, fields, and swampy places in absolute solitude – a thing only made possible by my newly-acquired iphone satnav ap: I have the world’s worst sense of direction and would never have trusted my ability to find my way back without it. Hurrah for technology (sometimes).
