Mexico

I got to spend most of October in Mexico, interviewing and filming human rights defenders for a life stories project. It was humbling and inspiring to hear so many courageous people speak about why they risk their lives to challenge unjust status quos in their communities and cities.

The stories from this trip will (eventually) appear here.

This is Nora Martínez Lázaro, of the Bartolomé Carrasco Briseño Human Rights Centre, Oaxaca.
